In this second November meeting, our professors and researchers addressed the topic, “Olive polyphenols and longevity”.
It was studied that polyphenols, natural molecules of plants typical of the Mediterranean diet, particularly those in olive trees such as hydroxytyrosol, have countless properties including antioxidant properties.
Numerous studies have shown that taking a proper dose of olive tree polyphenols, through the adoption of a Mediterranean-style diet, helps people improve their quality of life and extend it.
In addition, the importance of the possible use of dietary supplements*, such as those in our GARLIVE line* based on hydroxytyrosol, was reiterated to make up for any dietary deficiencies due to an incorrect diet.
