On this last Monday in November, MAGISNAT and Fondazione Policlinico Agostino Gemelli IRCCS, Rome, Italy, discussed the importance of including the right amount of fruits and vegetables in one’s diet.
Particular emphasis was placed on citrus fruits, cucumbers and grape, which, as proven by numerous scientific research and studies, have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, cardioprotective, anti-aging and anti-cancer properties.
In addition, these studies indicate that intake of these foods reduces hypertension, hyperlipidemia, skin problems and infections, and improves cardiovascular and nervous system health.
A meeting from which numerous tips and good habits emerged that people should adopt to get well and face everyday life with greater energy and well-being.
